Baked Pears with Feta, Honey, and Cranberries

Ingredients:
- 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the Pears:
- Cut the pears in half and scoop out the core using a melon baller or a small spoon.
3. Mix the Filling:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, dried cranberries, chopped walnuts (if using), and cinnamon. Mix well to combine.
4. Stuff the Pears:
- Drizzle the olive oil over the pear halves and place them cut-side up in a baking dish.
- Spoon the feta and cranberry mixture generously into each pear half.
5. Drizzle with Honey:
- Drizzle honey over the stuffed pears, ensuring each one gets a good amount.
6. Bake the Pears:
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pears are tender.
7. Serve:
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to slightly caramelize the honey.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve warm.
