Mediterranean Ground Beef Gyros

Ingredients:
For the Beef Filling:
500g (1 lb) ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp ground cumin
Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Tzatziki Sauce:
½ cup Greek yogurt
¼ cucumber, grated and drained
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
For Serving:
4 pita breads or flatbreads
½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
½ cup diced cucumber
¼ red onion, thinly sliced
¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Cook the beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Add ground beef, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 8 minutes.
Make the tzatziki: In a bowl, mix yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Chill for 10 minutes.
Assemble gyros: Warm pita bread, spread tzatziki, add beef mixture, and top with tomatoes, cucumber, onion, feta, and parsley.
Serve: Fold and enjoy immediately for a fresh, Mediterranean flavor burst.
