Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 red bird’s eye chilies (or adjust for heat preference), chopped

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup fish sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon chili paste (for extra spice)

1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

Prepare the chicken:

Slice the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch thick. Set aside.

Duration: 5 minutes

Cook the chicken:

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken strips and cook for 5-6 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.

Duration: 7 minutes

Prepare the sauce:

In the same skillet, add garlic, chilies, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, rice vinegar, and chili paste. Stir well and bring to a simmer.

For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the skillet. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Duration: 5 minutes

Combine chicken and sauce:

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss it in the sauce, making sure the chicken is well-coated. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and glaze the chicken.

Duration: 3 minutes

Garnish and serve:

Garnish with fresh cilantro and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately!

Duration: 2 minutes
