Balsamic-Cranberry Short Rib Sliders

INGREDIENTS:

Balsamic Short Rib Sliders with Cranberry Brie & Arugula

- 2 lbs short ribs

- 1 cup balsamic vinegar

- 1 onion, chopped

- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 cup beef broth

- 1 cup cranberry sauce

- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced

- 4 slider buns

- 1 cup arugula

- Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

2. Season the short ribs generously with salt and pepper.

3. In a Dutch oven, sear the short ribs on all sides until nicely browned.

4. Remove the short ribs and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in the same pot until translucent.

5. Pour in the balsamic vinegar and beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.

6. Return the seared short ribs to the pot, cover, and place it in the oven. Bake for about 2.5 hours or until the meat is tender.

7. Shred the short ribs and mix them with the cranberry sauce.

8. Assemble the sliders by placing a generous portion of the shredded short ribs onto each slider bun, followed by slices of brie cheese and a handful of arugula.

9. Serve the sliders and enjoy your delicious creation!
