Beef Kofta Kebabs with creamy Tzatziki!

Gather around the table for a Mediterranean feast featuring these savory Beef Kofta Kebabs with creamy Tzatziki! Perfect for your next dinner party.


Ingredients:


For the Kofta:


½ yellow onion, grated

2 pounds ground beef

2 garlic cloves, minced

1¼ teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

1 teaspoon rosemary

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon sumac (optional)

½ teaspoon cinnamon

8 metal or wooden skewers

For Serving (optional):


½ cup flat-leaf parsley leaves

4 ounces feta, crumbled

1 cup hummus

1 cup tzatziki

1 cup diced cucumbers

2 roma tomatoes, sliced

¼ red onion, thinly sliced

Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling

Pita bread, warmed

Directions:


Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates. Alternatively, preheat the oven to 350°F for the oven method.

Squeeze excess liquid from the grated onion using a kitchen towel.

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with the onion, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, cumin, oregano, sumac, and cinnamon until well combined.

Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal portions and form each around a skewer.

For grilling: Cook on the preheated grill, turning every 2-3 minutes, until slightly charred and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.

For oven baking: Place skewers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake, turning halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through, about 30 minutes.

Serve the kofta kebabs with parsley, feta, hummus, tzatziki, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, and drizzled with olive oil alongside warm pita bread.
