Succulent chicken thighs roasted to perfection with a bold honey-harissa glaze. A perfect balance of heat, sweetness, and smoky depth!
Ingredients
4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
2 tablespoons harissa paste
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together harissa paste, honey, olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Marinate the Chicken
Coat the chicken thighs with the marinade and let them sit for at least 15 minutes (or up to 24 hours for deeper flavor).
Roast to Perfection
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken thighs on a lined baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, basting with extra marinade halfway through.
Broil for Crispiness
For crispy skin, broil on high for 2-3 minutes until golden and slightly charred.
Serve & Enjoy
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with couscous, roasted veggies, or flatbread!
