Potato Cheese Sticks

Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside—perfect for dipping and sharing!


Ingredients:

- 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed

- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1/2 tsp garlic powder

- 1/2 tsp paprika

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 cup bread crumbs

- 1 large egg, beaten

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Vegetable oil for frying

- Optional: Marinara or ranch sauce for dipping


Instructions:

1. In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

2. Shape the mixture into small stick shapes, about 3 inches long. Place on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 20 minutes to firm up.

3. Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with bread crumbs.

4. Coat each potato stick in flour, then dip in egg, and finally roll in bread crumbs.

5. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Fry the potato sticks in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
