Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sriracha (optional, for more heat)

1/4 cup water

1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 1 tablespoon water)

Sliced green onions and sesame seeds (for garnish)

Steamed jasmine rice (to serve)

Directions:

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until browned and slightly crispy.

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha (if using), and water.

Pour the sauce into the pan with the beef. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens into a sticky glaze.

Serve hot over steamed rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
