Sweet Honey Garlic Pork Chops with Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:


4 boneless pork chops

2 tbsp olive oil

1/4 cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp Dijon mustard

4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup milk

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:


In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then cook them for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

In the same skillet, add honey, garlic, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir well, simmering for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Pour the sauce over the cooked pork chops.

Meanwhile, cook potatoes in a pot of boiling salted water until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.

Serve the honey garlic pork chops alongside the creamy mashed potatoes for a comforting meal.
