Ingredients (for 4 people):

8 chicken Drumsticks

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 tablespoon of honey

2 tablespoons of soy sauce

1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 teaspoon of paprika

1 teaspoon of cumin

1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper (optional, for a little spicy)

Salt and pepper to taste

Juice of 1 lemon

A few sprouts of fresh thyme (optional for garnish)

Instructions :

Prepare the marinade:

In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, soy sauce, mustard, garlic, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper (if used), salt and pepper.

Add lemon juice and mix well to achieve a homogeneous marinade.

Marinate the chicken pylons:

Place the chicken drums in the bowl and mix well to coat them with marinade.

Cover and let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (ideally 2-3 hours for more flavor).

Cooking chicken drumsticks:

Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).

Place the chicken strips on a baking sheet covered with sulfurized paper.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, flipping pylons to half-baked, until golden brown and well cooked (the internal temperature should reach 75 °C or 165 °F).

Finishes:

If you want an even more golden, caramelized effect, you can put the pylons under the grill for 2-3 minutes after cooking.

Servings :

Serve hot chicken pilons, accompanied by basmati rice, grilled vegetables or a crunchy salad for a complete meal.

Garnish with a few sprouts of fresh thyme if desired for a fragrant touch.
