Asian Glazed Chicken Thighs

Sweet and Savory Asian-Style Chicken Thighs
Ingredients:
6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon water
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry, then stir it into the sauce. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
Arrange the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them, making sure they are evenly coated.
Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes, basting with the glaze every 10 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
