Ingredients:
8 oz lo mein noodles (or spaghetti)
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 onion, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
Directions:
Prepare the Noodles: Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Marinate the Beef: In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Add the sliced flank steak and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
Cook the Beef: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add garlic, ginger, and onion. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the broccoli, carrots, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Combine and Serve: Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add the cooked noodles and toss with oyster sauce. Stir everything together until well combined. If you want a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir it into the skillet. Top with chopped green onions.
Serve hot and enjoy!
