Savory, tender beef with sweet onions in a rich, flavorful sauce—a quick and satisfying meal perfect for any night of the week!

Ingredients:

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 medium onions, sliced

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Green onions (optional, for garnish)

Directions:

Make the Sauce:

In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, sugar, garlic powder, and ground ginger to make the stir-fry sauce. Set aside.

Cook the Beef:

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Onions:

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Stir-fry the onions until they are tender and slightly caramelized, about 5 minutes.

Combine Everything:

Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the stir-fry sauce. Stir well to coat the beef and onions evenly.

Finish and Serve:

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
