Ingredients (Makes 10-12 Pancakes):

For the Pancakes:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 cup milk (or buttermilk for extra fluffiness)

1 large egg

2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

For Cooking & Serving:

1 tbsp butter (for greasing the pan)

Maple syrup (for drizzling)

Extra chocolate chips (for topping)

Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions:

Mix the Dry Ingredients:

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Prepare the Wet Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients:

Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.

Do not overmix—a few lumps are okay!

Fold in chocolate chips.

Cook the Pancakes:

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease lightly with butter.

Pour ¼ cup of batter per pancake onto the skillet.

Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges start to set (about 2 minutes).

Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

Serve & Enjoy:

Stack the pancakes on a plate.

Drizzle with warm maple syrup and sprinkle with extra chocolate chips.

Add whipped cream or fresh fruit for an extra treat!

Light, fluffy, and filled with melty chocolate—these pancakes are a dream come true!
