Crispy Two-Cheese Potato Gratin

INGREDIENTS:
- Potatoes
- Parmesan cheese
- Gruyere cheese
- Heavy cream
- Garlic
- Butter
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Nutmeg
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly.
3. In a saucepan, melt some butter and add minced garlic, cooking it until it becomes fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and add salt, black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg for seasoning.
5. Take a greased baking dish and start layering the sliced potatoes. Pour the cream mixture over each layer.
6. Top off each layer with grated Parmesan and Gruyere cheese.
7. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are cooked through.
8. Once finished, let the gratin cool for a few moments before serving. Enjoy!
