Ingredients:
- 2 rib eye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Begin by preparing the herb-infused marinade. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, and parsley. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
2. Place the rib eye steaks in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the herb-infused marinade over the steaks, making sure they are well coated. Allow the steaks to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or for maximum flavor, marinate overnight.
3. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the steaks from the marinade and season both sides with salt and pepper.
4. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to desired doneness.
5. Once the steaks are cooked to your liking, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
6. Slice the rib eye steaks against the grain and serve hot. Optionally, garnish with additional fresh herbs before serving.
Notes:
- For an extra kick of flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the herb-infused marinade.
- Make sure to let the steaks rest after cooking to allow the juices to redistribute, resulting in a juicier and more flavorful steak.
- This Herb-Infused Rib Eye Steak recipe pairs perfectly with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
