Hot Honey Buffalo Chicken Skewers

Juicy, saucy, HOT HONEY BUFFALO CHICKEN SKEWERS . Made in the air fryer and coated in a sticky hot honey buffalo sauce. Perfect with a side of chips and a salad.
Ingredients
For the chicken -
600g Chicken thighs, cut into bite sized pieces
1 tsp each of the following- Onion granules, garlic granules, smoked paprika
1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp Salt.
2 tbsp Buffalo sauce
2 tsp Cooking oil
For the sauce
2 tbsp Unsalted butter
50ml Honey
3 tbsp Buffalo sauce
1 tsp Chilli flakes or to taste
Garnish
Fresh chives, finely chopped
*wooden skewers - soaked for 30 minutes
Method
Step 1 - In a bowl, add the chicken pieces and all of the ingredients listed for the chicken. Mix well and let it marinate for at least an hour.
Step 2 - Grab a skewer and pierce through a piece. I add 6-7 pieces on each skewer.
Step 3 - Set the air fryer to 190c. Place in the chicken skewers in a single layer. Cook for 18-20 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking cycle. Once done, check the chicken is cooked through.
Step 4 - In a small pan, on low heat, add the butter, once melted, the chilli flakes and sauté for a minute, now add the buffalo sauce and honey. Mix well and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Step 5 - Remove the chicken skewers from the air fryer and transfer to a plate, pour over the hot honey buffalo sauce and garnish with fresh chives. Enjoy
