Deliciously cheesy and perfectly crispy, these oven-baked tacos are a family favorite!

Ingredients:

- 12 taco shells

- 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)

- 1 small onion, chopped

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 packet taco seasoning

- 1 cup water

- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed (really optional)

- 1 cup corn (frozen or canned)

- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

- 1 cup shredded lettuce

- 1 cup diced tomatoes

- Sour cream and salsa for serving (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned.

3. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and water. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until thickened.

4. Remove from heat and mix in the black beans and corn.

5. Arrange the taco shells in a 9x13-inch baking dish.

6. Spoon the beef mixture evenly into each taco shell.

7. Top each taco with shredded cheese.

8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Top with lettuce and tomatoes before serving. Add sour cream and salsa if desired. Enjoy!
