Ingredients:

4 chicken breast steaks (approximately 600 g)

4 garlic cloves, chopped

100 g parmesan cheese, grated

200 ml of thick cream

1 tsp crushed red pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Fries (to go with)

Instructions:

1. Prep chicken: Season chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper to taste.

2. Cooking the chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken fillets and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and place it on a plate.

3. Make the sauce: In the same pan, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, making sure it doesn't burn. Then add the heavy cream and crushed red pepper. Stir well and slow cook for about 3-4 minutes.

4. Add cheese: Incorporate grated parmesan cheese into the sauce and mix until melted and the sauce is smooth. Adjust the seasoning with extra salt and pepper if necessary.

5. Combine: Rearrange the chicken fillets in the pan with the sauce, making sure you cover each steak well with the creamy mixture.

6. Serve: Serve hot chicken fillets, accompanied by crispy fries on the side. You can sprinkle a little more parmesan cheese and red pepper on top for garnish.

Extra Tips: For an extra twist, you can add fresh chopped parsley on top of the chicken before serving. This recipe is perfect for a special dinner or to enjoy on any day.
