Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
3 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Toss the beef slices with cornstarch until evenly coated. Shake off any excess.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef in batches and sear until crispy and browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring frequently, until it thickens slightly (about 3-4 minutes).
Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss to coat it evenly in the sticky sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
