Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
1 lb (450g) chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Thai Sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon grated ginger
For Garnish:
Sesame seeds
Chopped green onions
Directions:
Prepare the Chicken: In a medium bowl, toss the chicken pieces with vegetable oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.
Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey, fish sauce, sesame oil, and grated ginger. Set aside.
Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
Add the Sauce: Lower the heat to medium and pour the Thai sauce over the chicken. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Serve: Plate the Thai chicken bites and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve as an appetizer or over rice for a complete meal.
